ÒMata leaoÓ means Òlion killerÓ in Portuguese, an appropriate title for this beast of an album, BiohazardÕs first as a trio. In this case less is more; with a sound blending so many ingredients (hardcore, rap, metal), the increased focus brought on by the streamlined line-up just hardens the tip of the jackhammer. Produced by Dave Jerden of JaneÕs Addiction and Alice in Chains fame, this 1996 release sees its first U.S. issue on vinyl, complete with printed inner sleeve. Tan vinyl pressing limited to 2000 copies!
