Noctorum - Offer The Light LP NEW RSD 2023
Noctorum - Offer The Light (ORANGE VINYL)
NEW. SEALED.
RSD 2023 Release
Schoolkids Records
RECORD STORE DAY Offer the Light is the second release from Noctorum, the collaboration of Marty Willson-Piper (the church, All About Eve, The Saints) and multi-instrumentalist and producer Dare Mason (the church, Placebo, Wedding Present). Following up the success of the bandÕs most successful album to date, 2019Õs ÒThe AfterlifeÓ (Billboard Album Chart #89) and the 2021Õs Record Store Day release of their debut ÒSparks LaneÓ, Offer The Light will be an eagerly awaited pressing. Both The Afterlife and Sparks Lane sold out immediately and are currently out of print, making Offer The Light a sought after collectorÕs item. It will available for the first time ever on Orange Vinyl with download code, exclusively for Record Store Day 2023. As any fan of The Church already knows, MartyÕs one helluva guitar player. Is an avid supporter of independent record stores, worked in one in Stockholm for years and has a Vinyl record collection of over 50,000 albums. He also hosts a daily blog and website called the ÒIn Deep Music ArchiveÓ where he talks about Vinyl and albums from the past, showcasing several entries a day and having a loyal readership of several hundred followers a day. Offer The LightÕs sonic blueprint doesnÕt stray too far from The ChurchÕs blend of Velvet Underground menace and the ByrdÕs glorious jangle. Willson-Piper has written a rather beautiful Õ70s rock album, along the lines of Pink Floyd, but not too far from the band for which he is most famous.
